Our international programmes and services
International engagement has been at the heart of Adie’s DNA since its creation, inspired by the microcredit model developed by Muhammad Yunus through Grameen Bank in Bangladesh.
Since 1989, we have contributed to the creation of five microfinance institutions in Europe and the Mediterranean region, as well as two European networks in the sector. Today, we continue to share our experience with our European and international peers to strengthen the impact of microfinance. Today, our international activities focus on three key areas:
Putting our expertise at the service of microfinance stakeholders through technical assistance, consulting, and audit assignments, as well as participation in the governance of institutions.
Working with our international partners to co-develop cooperation projects and contribute to European research and advocacy initiatives.
Exploring new practices through peer-to-peer exchanges, particularly through the Erasmus+ programme.
Our expertise for microfinance actors
With more than 35 years of experience in France and internationally, Adie puts its expertise at the service of organisations seeking to develop inclusive microfinance services tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs.
